SHIPPING OVERVIEW

Cortex ships worldwide where permitted by law. By placing an order through our website, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in this Shipping Policy.

All shipping timelines provided are estimates only and are not guaranteed.


ORDER PROCESSING

Orders are typically processed within 1–5 business days after payment is successfully received.

Processing times may be extended during:

  • product launches

  • promotions

  • holidays

  • high order volume periods

  • inventory delays

  • carrier disruptions

Cortex reserves the right to delay, refuse, cancel, or limit any order at our discretion.


SHIPPING TIMES

Estimated delivery windows vary depending on destination, carrier availability, customs processing, weather conditions, and other external factors.

Estimated shipping times are not guarantees and may change without notice.

Cortex is not responsible for shipping delays caused by:

  • shipping carriers

  • customs inspections

  • incorrect customer information

  • weather

  • labor disruptions

  • lost or stolen packages

  • force majeure events

  • international import processing

  • carrier capacity limitations

Once an order has been transferred to the shipping carrier, delivery responsibility transfers to the carrier.


ADDRESS ACCURACY

Customers are solely responsible for providing accurate shipping and contact information at checkout.

Cortex is not responsible for orders shipped to incorrectly entered addresses.

If an order is returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address:

  • additional shipping fees may apply

  • reshipment is not guaranteed

  • refunds may be denied

  • original shipping costs are non-refundable

Orders cannot always be modified after being placed.


LOST, STOLEN, OR DELIVERED PACKAGES

Cortex is not responsible for lost, stolen, missing, delayed, or carrier-marked “delivered” packages once possession has been transferred to the shipping carrier.

Customers are responsible for:

  • monitoring tracking information

  • contacting the carrier regarding delivery issues

  • ensuring packages can be safely delivered

Any replacement or reshipment is provided solely at Cortex’s discretion.

Claims relating to missing shipments may require:

  • proof of identity

  • proof of address

  • carrier investigation

  • police report where applicable

Fraudulent claims may result in account restrictions, cancellation of future orders, or legal action.


SHIPPING PROTECTION

If shipping protection or package insurance is offered during checkout and declined by the customer, Cortex shall not be liable for carrier-related loss, theft, or damage after shipment.

Where shipping protection is purchased, claims remain subject to carrier verification and approval requirements.


INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

International customers are solely responsible for:

  • customs duties

  • VAT

  • import taxes

  • brokerage fees

  • regulatory compliance in their jurisdiction

Cortex does not guarantee that products are authorized for import into every country.

If an international shipment is:

  • refused

  • abandoned

  • destroyed by customs

  • returned due to import restrictions

the customer may not be eligible for a refund.

Shipping charges, customs fees, duties, and carrier costs are non-refundable.


FAILED DELIVERY ATTEMPTS

If delivery fails due to customer unavailability, refusal, address issues, or failure to pay import fees:

  • the package may be destroyed or returned

  • refunds are not guaranteed

  • reshipment fees may apply

Cortex is not responsible for carrier disposal of undeliverable packages.


DAMAGED ORDERS

If your order arrives visibly damaged, you must contact Cortex within 7 days of delivery and provide:

  • order number

  • photographs of the packaging

  • photographs of the damaged product

Failure to provide sufficient documentation may result in denial of the claim.

Cortex reserves the right to determine eligibility for replacement or refund.


PREORDERS AND INVENTORY DELAYS

Products marked as preorder, backorder, or delayed inventory items may ship separately or at a later date.

Estimated ship dates are approximate and subject to change without notice.


SUBSCRIPTION ORDERS

Subscription orders are automatically processed according to the subscription terms agreed to during checkout.

Customers are responsible for managing subscription billing and address information before renewal dates.

Failure to update shipping information does not qualify for refunds or charge reversals.


FRAUD PREVENTION

Cortex reserves the right to:

  • hold orders for verification

  • request identity confirmation

  • cancel suspicious transactions

  • restrict future purchases

Orders flagged as high-risk by our payment processors or fraud systems may be delayed or cancelled without notice.


LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cortex shall not be liable for:

  • shipping delays

  • carrier errors

  • customs delays

  • lost profits

  • indirect damages

  • incidental damages

  • consequential damages arising from shipment or delivery issues

Our maximum liability relating to any shipment shall not exceed the amount paid for the applicable order.
